I’ve always been pretty serious about pretty much everything; a typical perfectionist “Type A” with a list for everything seemingly in my back pocket. I always plan things weeks (if not months) in advance, and I tend to get anxious more than most people, but I am always willing to try something new, eat all the food (except Pho, sorry hubby), and travel to new places!
Almost two years ago, my now husband and I purchased 70 acres in Frederick Country, Virginia; moving from the cushy condo lifestyle that was Ashburn, Virginia. We had a Walmart within five minutes from the condo, and now if we go into town, it isn’t just a quick run to the store. Our property is the biggest adventure we have taken yet. From almost completely gutting the poorly maintained home built in 2013, to becoming first time chicken parents.
Adventure is described as, “an unusual and exciting, typically hazardous, experience or activity,” and/or to, “engage in hazardous and exciting activity, especially the exploration of unknown territory.”
So here we are, me, my husband, and our two dynamically different pups, setting out on adventures and exploring this thing we are all experiencing together…life. Leaving my Type-A personality at home and taking the backseat to adventure.
